When can I check in?
4.00PM- 9.00PM. Late Check-in with prior arrangement. Please contact the hostel if you need to arrange late check-in.
Is there a curfew?
Once you have check-in, you can go out & return when you like – no need to hurry back after dining out. (Please do, however, be mindful of sleeping guests if you return very late.)
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets
Do you allow camping?
We do have a small space for tents but please contact the hostel directly to enquire.
Can I park my motorhome here and use facilities?
We sometimes have space but please contact the hostel directly to enquire.
We are a group wishing to stay?
Please contact the hostel directly for best price. Reductions are offered for large groups/hostel hire.
Accessibility?
We regret that Inveraray Hostel does not currently feature wheelchair access nor any adapted facilities. However, it may still be suitable for some guests with limited mobility: there are a few steps up to/down from the entrances, but the entire building is single storey, & all bathroom facilities are level, walk-in cubicles. We have several rooms with single beds & one room with a double. It is a small & easily navigable hostel.
Cancellations?
A refund of 100% of the booking value will be issued to reservations cancelled more than 3 days in advance of booked arrival date. No refund will be issued for reservations cancelled within 3 days of booked arrival date, or in the case of a guest failing to arrive.
Can I park at the hostel?
Yes, there is ample free car parking available.
Can I self-cater?
Yes, there is kitchen full equipped and available for guests to use. If you wish to self-cater there is a local co-op and mini market where you can all you need to cook with
Are there places to eat out in Inveraray?
Yes, there are a number of pubs and restaurants to eat out in. These are all within 5 minutes of the hostel.
Does the hostel have a travel cot?
Yes, we are able to supply a travel cot, please let us know prior to your arrival if you need one.
Are the rooms self-contained?
Yes, all rooms are private with communal toilets and showers.
Are bedding, sheets and towels provided?
Yes, all is provided free of charge by the hostel.
Does the hostel offer breakfast?
No unfortunately we do not. We offer free tea and coffee, and the self-catering kitchen is available for use. If you wish to go out for breakfast, there are a number of options available in Inveraray for breakfast.
